UGA Saxophone Day
Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023
1:00pm - 5:00pm
Auditions for All-State and collegiate music programs can be scary --
but they don’t have to be!
The UGA Saxophone Studio will host
our Saxophone Day to help high school
students prepare auditions for All-State
and collegiate music programs!
At the UGA Saxophone Day, you’ll work with Dr. Quarles on your saxophone fundamentals, practice techniques, and gain specific knowledge about auditioning for All-State and undergraduate music study. You’ll also hear performances from current UGA saxophone students and hear directly from them about their experience as a music major. Selected participants will have the opportunity to work on the All-State etude with Dr. Quarles in a masterclass setting (see below for more information).

NEW THIS YEAR: Saxophone Day participants will play together in a saxophone ensemble alongside current UGA saxophone students. There will be a performance of the saxophone ensemble at the conclusion of the program for parents and family to enjoy. See the schedule below for concert time!

The UGA Saxophone Day is completely free! Students must register using this Google Form and parents must complete the Minors Authorization Form in order to attend the events.

So what are you waiting for? Register today and join us for the UGA Saxophone Day!
