UGA Saxophone Day
Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025
1:00pm - 5:00pm

The UGA Saxophone Studio hosts our FREE Saxophone Day to help high school students prepare auditions for All-State and collegiate music programs!

At UGA Saxophone Day, you’ll work with Dr. Quarles on your saxophone fundamentals, practice techniques, and gain specific knowledge about auditioning for All-State and undergraduate music study. You’ll also hear performances from current UGA saxophone students and hear directly from them about their experience as a music major. Selected participants will have the opportunity to work on the All-State etude with Dr. Quarles in a masterclass setting (see the FAQ section below for more information).

Saxophone Day participants will play together in a saxophone ensemble alongside current UGA saxophone students, so please bring your saxophone. There will be a performance of the saxophone ensemble at the conclusion of the program for parents and family to enjoy. See the schedule below for concert time!

UGA Saxophone Day is completely free! Parents and gaurdians: please register your student by filling out the required Minors Authorization Form by October 13thFailure to fill out the Minors Authorization Form will disqualify your child from participating in the event.
