Saxophonists Advance to National Finals

Congratulations to Gabriel Piqué and the MILK Quartet (Gabe Piqué, Michael Turner, Brandon Quarles, Shawna Pennock) for advancing to the national finals of the Music Teachers National Association’s (MTNA) young artist and chamber music competitions in Las Vegas, Nevada in March 2015.   To advance to the national round,  Gabe and MILK won the state level in November 2014 which advanced them to the southeast regionals in January 2015 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  Upon winning each of their categories at the regionals, they advanced to the nationals.   Bravo to all for this tremendous accomplishment!
